Terms and Conditions
Before booking Deep Clough Cottage, please take the time to read these Terms and Conditions. They include important information about your booking, Deep Clough Cottage and the site facilities and your stay with us. All guests staying with us must be aged 18 or over. We have a strict no pets policy.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that you are unable to stay with us, we are not able to provide a refund or rearrange your booking. This includes adverse weather conditions which might affect your travel.
We suggest that you take out suitable travel insurance in the event that you need to cancel your stay.
If you need to cancel and can give us at least 4 week’s notice before your original check-in date we may be able to rearrange your holiday. If you dates move between seasons there may be a cost incurred.
If you need to cancel within 4 weeks of check-in, you can try to sell your holiday to friends or family and we will update the guest information.
We do not offer refunds or change of dates for Covid 19 related illness.
In the event that we have to cancel your stay we will notify you and discuss the alternative arrangements.
Booking Policy Summary
If you are found to be in breach of these conditions during your stay we reserve the right to ask you and your party to leave, with no refunds given.
Coronavirus COVID-19
If you test positive for Covid we cannot offer a refund. We recommend you take out suitable travel insurance to cover if you are unable to travel due to illness.
No Shows
If you do not check-in on your travel dates we will not provide a refund.
Please check your travel dates carefully as if you turn up on the wrong dates we will not be able to accommodate you.
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance for your stay with us. This will cover you in case you can no longer stay with us, as well as the cost of any damage you cause during your stay.
Payment Policy
Payment Policy
At the time of booking you will be asked to pay a 100% of the cost of your stay.
This will be in an email with a link to our payment partner Stripe.
You will be asked to store a card before your check-in date for a security deposit authorisation. Please refer to the Security Deposit section of our Terms and Conditions.
Accommodation
Security Deposit
Before your stay, you will be asked to store a card with our booking system which will be used as a security deposit pre-authorisation. This authorisation of £200 will be held on your stored card and only used if you fail to comply with our Terms and Conditions.
We aim to be as fair as possible, and rarely charge guests any or all of their security deposit.
The £200 pre-authorisation will be held from your check-in day and released within 24 hours of check-out. It may take the bank a few days to remove the pre-authorisation.
Failure to store a card for the security deposit pre-authorisation will result in us cancelling your booking and you will not be issued with a refund.

Damage
If you or any of your party cause damage to the Cottage, the facilities or the exterior of the Cottage, or the site in any way, we reserve the right to collect payment from you to cover the cost of the damage.
Damage can include but is not limited to…
Chipped and broken crockery including plates can be paid for in the shop, and new items can be purchased.
Please report any damages to us before you check-out. Breakages and damage must be paid for.
Cleaning & Housekeeping
The Parson Lee Farm team will clean the pods and fully restock the hot tub between each stay.
You are responsible for leaving the cottage in a tidy manner before you leave, including putting rubbish in the bins, washing up any dirty kitchenware or using the dishwasher.
A charge of £15 will be made if the cottage have been left in an unsatisfactory mess.
Camp Fires and Fire Pits
Campfires and guests’ own barbecues are not permitted on site.
Guests’ own wood or charcoal is not permitted. Fuel for our fire pits must be bought from Parson Lee Farm and the fire pit must be used in the designated area outside the pod for safety reasons.
Barbecues
Guests are not permitted to bring their own barbecue. A gas BBQ is provide.
Parking
Please park next to Deep Clough Cottage in the parking area provided.
Vehicles are left at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for damage or theft on the site.
There are no electric charging ports available for guests to use onsite.
Smoking
We operate a strict no smoking policy inside the Cottage. This includes tobacco products and e-cigarettes.
Guests are permitted to smoke outside the pod, but please dispose of your cigarettes end.
Smoking in the hot tub is STRICTLY prohibited.
Pets
There is a strict no pets policy.
We are not able to allow guide dogs to stay in the pods.
Guest Policy - Sharing Bookings
We do not permit you to share your booking with other guests.
For example, if you book a 3 night stay, the same guests must stop in the glamping pod for the 3 nights. You cannot share the booking and split the nights.
The guests staying in the pod should be the guests who have given their details towards the security deposit.
Wheelchair access
The remote location is not suitable for wheel chair access.
Children
Hedgerow Luxury Glamping is an adults-only site. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to stay with us.
Keys
Any lost keys will be charged at £45 as we will have to replace the key and the locking system for security reasons.
Loss & Theft
Parson Lee Farm accept no liability for belongings that are lost or stolen on the site, including in and outside the cottage.
Hot Tub
Please do not smoke in the hot tub, take glass or breakable items into the hot tub or any electrical items.
Glass broken in a hot tub will have a charge of £500 due to hiring another hot tub whilst hot tub is removed and deep cleaned.
Hedgerow Grounds
Please dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided in your cottage and outside next to the steps.
Please drive slowly when you are on the site to maintain the safety of yourself, our guests and any wildlife on the site.
Please keep noise within a respectable level.
Parson Lee Farm Area.
The pond at Parson Lee Farm Glamping is for decorative purposes only.
Please do not paddle or swim in the pond. This is for your own safety, as well as to protect the wildlife that lives in and around the pond.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you partake in irresponsible behaviour.
